Teaching Kids How to Report Bullying
Many parents are aware of the serious problem of bullying. But many don’t realize that over 160,000 kids nationwide stay home from school every day because of bullying or that eighty percent of middle school boys admit to bullying someone in the past month. The issue of bullying will not go away unless it is addressed directly but many kids don’t report bullying behavior, sometimes out of fear and other times not wanting to be seen as the “snitch” to their peers. However, if kids don’t report than adults can’t assist. So we have to teach kids address a bullying problem and how to do report correctly.
